Working Together

From idea to website

Sometimes the easiest way to discuss an idea is to make it visible. A sketch, prototype, or draft website can reveal possibilities that are difficult to describe in words alone.

Two ways we begin

Sometimes you reach out with an idea. Sometimes I notice an opportunity and share a draft. Either way, the goal is the same: to explore what would genuinely help and whether it is worth building.

You reach out

You have an idea, a challenge, or a website that no longer reflects the work behind it. We talk through what the site should accomplish, who it serves, and what a useful first version might look like.

I share a draft

Occasionally I come across a business, project, or organization that sparks my imagination. If I create a private concept, it is because I see genuine potential and believe there may be a worthwhile opportunity to explore.

Why start with a draft?

Many people discover what they want by reacting to something concrete. A draft creates a shared reference point. It turns abstract conversations into practical ones.

What feels right here?

What feels missing?

What should this communicate?

A draft is not the answer. It is a tool for thinking.

Private by default

Drafts are shared through private links and are not indexed by search engines. They are intended for the people involved in the project and provide a quiet space to explore ideas, gather feedback, and make decisions before anything becomes public.

Ways we can work together

Prototype

A focused concept that explores structure, language, and direction before larger decisions are made.

Build

A complete website designed around the goals of the project and the people it serves.

Collaborate

A shared process where we shape decisions together and you remain closely involved throughout.

Stewardship

Ongoing improvements, updates, and refinements as the website evolves.

Handoff

A completed site with guidance, documentation, and a clear transition so you can manage it independently.

Referral

If a project needs deeper development, complex ecommerce, or a custom app, I can help clarify the need and point toward a specialist.

The goal

The goal is not simply to launch a website. The goal is to create something that reflects the quality of your work, helps people understand what you do, and supports the next stage of the journey.

Sometimes that begins with a conversation. Sometimes it begins with a draft. Either way, we start by making the idea visible.
